I recently purchased two copies of this book for children in our family. The illustrations are bright and cheerful, drawing your child's attention to the simple but powerful message of the book. Every book in the Best Behavior Series is excellent.You'll never regret purchasing Words Are Not for Hurting -- it's absolutely fabulous.
I bought most of the books in the series and my 2.5 year old really enjoys them. He definitely learns from them and applies the lessons. Great book to teach toddlers manners.
Very simple, cute book that gets the message across quite well. Straight and to the point, as the other books in this series are.
This book (and the entire series) is a great teaching tool for little ones. Often times, when my daughter needs a "reminder" about choosing her words carefully, we put this in our bedtime story rotation.
Content of the book is great but the board pages of the book I received were bent and twisted.
